THE MANY FACES OF CHRONIC ILDs WITH FIBROSIS

Interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) are a large family of lung diseases that share similar features but arise from different causes, so each has a unique profile. Certain ILDs can cause scarring in the lungs which may get worse over time. This type of ILD is called a chronic ILD with worsening fibrosis, commonly known as pulmonary fibrosis.
